This tiny little spot is located a little off the Main Street in downtown PS, but well worth the little walk. I heard that the owners originally were chefs from Shanghai Reds Bar & Grill. All of the staff is very friendly and on point. The portions are fairly large example : salmon is 8oz fresh line caught and comes with rice or linguine and veggies and garlic bread. The kitchen is all open and if you sit at the bar you have a front row seat to watch them cook everything. The locals all rave about this spot too, so you know it's legit. I will be back for sure.

Absolutely yummylicious food and great friendly service! It is located in the downtown central area of Palm Springs. Walking distance from several hotels and near the heart of the nightlife. The restaurant is smaller on the inside, but they have patio seating outside with misters to combat the Palm Springs SCORCH! The ambience gives you a Baja feel all the way around. The colors are themed in deep sea blue and metallic colors. The bar is spacious and very well stocked unless you want Midori. You can sit at the booth or the small tables around the inside of the restaurant. The decor, of course again, gives you the sea worthiness of Baja. Our service professional was Myra. She has one of the best personalities! She was so friendly and helpful! She even appreciated us being dorks! Now that in itself proves that she has amazing patience! We got there around 5:00 p.m. because we had a show to catch at a nearby hotel. I would definitely suggest to get there early because it filled up rather quickly. We ordered the following: Oysters on a half shell which were very fresh and definitely did not have that fishy icky taste! I would like to suggest for them to maybe scrub the shell a little bit more because there were a lot of tidbits as I was biting into the oysters. My husband ordered the clam chowder which I was not allowed to have after he tasted it. We made the mistake at another restaurant and ordered a humongous bowl of the clam chowder and it seriously tasted like evaporated milk. This was a total opposite! My husband is a finicky person when it comes to his clam chowder. He devoured it and claimed it was one of the best ones that he had. Unfortunately, I can't attest to this because I wasn't allowed to have any. I also ordered the seafood pasta special which basically was linguine, a whole bunch of seafood and a white wine garlic lemon sauce. Mind you, I am actually really picky about my seafood pasta and I would definitely rate this five stars. It came out piping hot! The noodles were cooked perfectly and actually had the flavor of the sauce in them. The sauce was well balanced and you can taste everything from the garlic to the wine to the lemon! The best part about this is that there were an abundance of shrimp, clams, muscles and bits of crab. My husband ordered a seafood pasta as well. His was in a tangy Sweet red sauce served with manicotti noodles. Just like my dish it was packed with seafood and the sauce was amazing. It went so perfectly with the garlic bread that was given to us! The adult soda that was ordered was a Blue lemon drop. Definitely not watered down and had a great sweet yet deep flavor to it. Definitely will be back whenever we are back in Palm Springs just to see Lola and be blessed by her amazing service. Oh yeah! The yummilicious food is also another factor Make sure to order the clam chowder! OMG!!!

I was blown away by the oysters at Ruben and Ozzy's Oyster Bar & Grill! These oysters are huge--and unbelievably fresh, especially for a spot in the desert. I literally went back just to satisfy my oyster cravings, and they did not disappoint. The rest of their menu is solid as well, and the portions are humongous! Whether you're in for seafood or something else, you definitely get your money's worth here. But trust me, if you're an oyster fan, you need to try them here. They'll keep you coming back for more.

Food: wow this was one of the best foods my college/work friend and I had during our spontaneous Palm Spring trip! the jumbo cocktail shrimp was crispy while the alfredo linguine was just the right amount of cheese and cream, cooked al dente. Cioppino was a great blend of abundant seafood meat with savory tomato sauce. But the baked oysters really hit home run for both of us, you gotta try it! Our drinks were also fabulous addition to our meals. Price: Cioppino was about $38, shrimp with linguine dish was about $26, baked oysters were about $21, which are all sorta in the pricier side, but we had a great time and enjoyed the food and flavor thoroughly Ambiance: not very fancy inside, actually feels like a standard American diner actually, not too big interior. good place to hang with friends to catch up and grab a drink along with oysters/other seafood dishes Service: no issues with getting our food and drinks Parking: I don't actually recall very well, but I remember finding parking not too far from the restaurant itself, we did go on a weekday night, so it might not have been too busy

The patio was full and we thought we had to wait. ... but we Didn't have to wait, but we came early for dinner (Memorial Day weekend), and there was a line by the we left. We weren't sure what to get and our server totally helped us out. She was so sweet and took the time to give us suggestions even tho it was busy. Sooo we got the Stuffed Artichoke, Cioppino, and Luis' Special. Omgeeee all were amaaazing! We will definitely be back (we considered going back our next night in PS). We had dinner here and it was really good. There is a covered patio in front of the restaurant so we were able to enjoy outdoor dining. They have heaters in case of cold. I had the coconut shrimp and this was the best I have had. There is not a lot breading and it had great flavor. It comes with rice, slaw and a sauce on the side. The owners are terrific and are normally at the restaurant
